H Filtering for a Class of Networked Control Systems with Packet Dropouts

Article Preview

Abstract:

The problem of H filtering for networked control system with packet dropouts is discussed. By analyzing packet dropout dynamics and presenting a switching filter, the new filtering error system corresponding to the dynamic information of the packet dropouts is structured. A sufficient condition in terms of LMIs for the system to be stable with a prescribed H performance is obtained. The result is less conservative. A numerical example illustrates the effectiveness of the presented method.
