Study of Detection Technique in Forecasting Outburst Hazard in Mine Working Face

Article Preview

Abstract:

To describe the progress of detection technique used to forecast outburst hazard of mine working surface in recent years in China, its research and application were reviewed in this paper. The detection techniques include contact type detection technique and non-contact type detection technique. The principles, methods and application of major detection techniques in two categories were investigated. Field application approves that contact type detection technique had an advantage over non-contact type one for a long time because contact type detection technique has the advantage of processing mass data fast and easily. And along with the fast development of detection technique, non-contact type detection technique has seen considerable expansion within the past few years. The advantage and disadvantage of these two types were analyzed. The combination of the two types not only achieves higher forecasting accuracy rates but also reduces the total detected workload. Furthermore, detection technique will play a greater role in forecasting outburst hazard.
