Preliminary Study on Microstructure of Jute Fiber

Abstract:

This article analyses the microstructures, including crystallinity, orientation degree and IR spectrum, of both Chinese jute and Bangladesh jute. Their microstructure changes after treated with acid, alkali and oxidants have been studied.
