Experimental Research of Acoustic Emission Features of Waveguide Rod in the Oil

Abstract:

In acoustic testing of special structures, waveguide rods are necessary to connect structure and sensors, also for some special ambient environment. In the paper, the waveguide rod is placed in oil to test the propagation of acoustic wave. The influence of the distance between rod and tank bottom is studied, also is the distance between the signal source in oil and rod bottom end.
