Measurement the Transmission Characteristics of the Power Line Communication Channel Based on Periodic PN Sequence

Article Preview

Abstract:

A novel method for measurement of power line communications channel transmission characteristics on the basis of PN sequences excellent periodic autocorrelation properties is presented and discussed in this article. In order to improve the measurement precision, a compensation method in frequency domain is proposed in this paper also. This measurement method can easily and quickly obtain channel characteristics inculding reliable amplitude and phase frequency response characteristics. The measurenent experiment results basically consistent with the vector network analyzers measurement results, which has demonstrated the efficiency of the measurement method.
