Experiment Research on Embankment Deform Monitoring Using Distributed Optical Fiber Sensor

Article Preview

Abstract:

To overcome shortcomings of traditional methods for detecting the embankment internal deformation, this paper puts forward the distributed optical fiber sensing technique to detect the embankment inner deep deformation. The method according to the optical fiber sensing mechanism, with Swiss Omnisens company produces the DiTeSt-202 strain/temperature optical fiber sensing analyzer, makes the cable arrangement, builds the monitoring program for the embankment deep deformation and real-time monitors the embankment, and uses Matlab to process and analysis data. The experimental results show that the feasibility of this scheme, guides the engineering practice.
