Study of Measuring Velocity Based on Double-Signal System

Article Preview

Abstract:

The step-frequency wave is widely applied in high-resolution radars, while serious range-velocity coupling exists in the process. During measuring velocity, present methods’ shortages become more and more sharp. This paper focus on a kind system of measuring velocity different from those, which is based on step-frequency waves and pulse with constant carrier frequency. The advantages of single systems have been extracted in this system, so that the high precision of measuring velocity is get while the range of measuring velocity guaranteed, and well noise immunity is tested by simulations, which offers profitable reference.
