Numerical Simulation of Deep Beam in Short-Leg Shear Walls Structure

Abstract:

Based on the finite element software ANSYS, deep beams in short-leg shear walls structures is analyzed in this paper. Seven models which include 1 straight wall, 3 L-shape and 3 T-shape walls are established to simulate the mechanical properties of L-shape, T-shape and straight shape short-leg shear walls structures under horizontally cyclic loading. The distribution regulations of damage and stress are given out.
