The Failure Process Analysis of Reinforced Concrete Beams with Different Steel Reinforcement Ratio

Article Preview

Abstract:

In this article, we will do a numerical simulation of reinforced concrete beams (under-reinforced beam, balanced-reinforced beam, over-reinforcement beam). Analysis shows that use Solid65 element can simulate the nonlinear mechanical properties of the reinforced concrete beam under different reinforcement ratio better. So we think that the finite element software can be used to calculate the mechanical behavior of the reinforced concrete.
