Simulation and Visual Operation: IT Application on Container Terminal Production Logistics System

Article Preview

Abstract:

This paper introduces a solution to process control and visualized management system of container terminal. Some advanced technologies, such as GIS, GPS, WLAN, DLP screen etc, are integrated into the Container Terminal Production Logistics System in the solution. Another innovation is the auto-lock equipment fixed on RTG. IT application on container terminal, which includes accurate positioning, dynamic tracking, process controlling, distance operating, and this solution is able to effectively avoid the drivers operational misplay.
