Abstract:

Converting the customer demand to the design requirement of new product exactly is a very important link in multi-organizational collaborative design. In the multi-organizational collaborative design, however, inconsistent understandings of different members towards customer demands often cause failure of objectively and perfectly realizing the conversion. In this paper, the influence and effect of Quality Function Deployment upon the multi-organizational collaborative design is analyzed. It also probes into applicable way of applying QFD in the multi-organizational collaborative design. The QFD-based model, including confirmation of customer demands, decomposition of the collaborative design tasks and realization of the collaborative design tasks, is put forward and elaborated with profound illustration.
