Increase of Firmness of Milling Cutters with Variable Cutting Velocities along the Length of Teeth Cutting Edges

Abstract:

Milling operations are widely used for manufacturing of various parts in machine building. For such operations milling cutters of different design are used [1,2,3,4]. Milling cutters with special cutting section are employed for treatment of parts having contoured surfaces, dove-tail and circular slots and the like. These milling cutters possess variable cutting velocities along the cutting edge of the tooth.
