Contribution at the Calculation and Variation in Time of the Surface Roughness Produced by Turning Process

Article Preview

Abstract:

Starting from the analytical calculation relation of the Ra parameter of the surface roughness for the turning operations, it brings contribution to the improvement of the precision of the surface roughness calculation, by taking in consideration the working speed, the top radius of the tool and the in time wear of the turning cutting tool. Also, it is presented the relation between in time wear of the radial turning cutting tool, the variation in time of the correction coefficient and the surface roughness obtained, by taking in consideration the material characteristics of working and of the technological and constructive parameters in specification for the turning process.
