A Study of the Starting Control Strategy of the Mini-Car with Magnetic Powder Clutch

Article Preview

Abstract:

Aiming at starting process of the mini-car with the magnetic powder clutch, the control strategy with different parameters is proposed. The parameters are the opening degree and change rate of the throttle, the objective speed and actual speed of the engine, the engine lowest combination speed, and the transmission input shaft speed. The results show that, this control strategy can fit the starting intention. The car can start reposefully and rapidly and the sliding friction work is relatively low. The engine speed changes reposefully in the combination. The fuel consumption and the noise are decreased.
