Abstract: Compared with other template construction technology, jacking formwork system has the advantages of self-climbing, less operating personnel, good safety and good construction quality, with relatively innovative construction techniques and technology and has been widely used in the construction of tall buildings in recent years. The lifting principles and characteristics of jacking formwork were introduced in the paper. Based on the application in a tall building project, construction technologies of the formwork were introduced.

Abstract: Jacking formwork system has been widely used in the construction of tall buildings and modularized low-position jacking steel platform formwork system is made up of several assembled and turnover subsystems, including steel truss platform system, steel columns supporting system, formwork and rack system, two-way-acting hydraulic jack and its control system.The paper described the application of the system in Fuzhou Yu Yang Central Golden Plaza Project and construction site monitoring were conducted. According to the site monitoring result, the performance of the jacking formwork system is further illustrated. In the end some suggestions were put forward to ensure construction safet .

Abstract: Qiansimen Bridge is a partial cable-stayed bridge with steel truss girder under building in Chongqing city, China, which will carry 4 vehicle lanes and 2 urban rails. Several general erection schemes of the steel truss are proposed and compared. Based on this, the erection scheme of steel truss at the non-cable area near the tower, the side span area and of the standard segment are discussed, which could be referred by for similar engineering.

Abstract: The waste generated by the construction sector have increased significantly, becoming an increasing problem, since most of this waste is deposited irregularly, not giving its proper disposal. Such waste, if not disposed properly contribute to environmental degradation, affecting not only the environment, but also, the quality of life. The gypsum products are among the wastes of this activity. Gypsum is a material that has many applications in the construction and generates significant volume of waste that most often is not reused, and usually has its final destination in landfills or dumps. The objective of this research was check on a construction site what kinds of alternatives are used for the management of waste gypsum in the building. The plaster can be recycled easily, being used in the production of cement. For the realization of recycling, there's the ATT - Transshipment Areas and Screening, in which they receive the plaster and other residues to prepare them for their industrial reuse. This way you can properly allocate the waste gypsum, without causing environmental damage and promoting better management of the construction site. Abstract: Construction control of arch rib is the key step in the process of construction for long span arch bridge. For the construction of arch rib obliquely spanning the curved girder, the key technologies including the formulation of construction scheme, the division of segments, erection of supports, the test of alignment and strain, and the order of removing temporary supports of arch rib are given. Meanwhile some controlling measures such as the adjustment of elevation of supports, correction of errors, handling of temperature effect, conversion of structural system are provided, and the critical points ensuring the safety and stability of arch rib in construction are summarized. Conclusions obtained here have important reference values to the construction of special type of long span arch bridge.

Abstract: At present, roller compacted concrete (called RCC) technology has developed rapidly. So in order to make the RCC dam, RCC dam construction technologies have been further developed and accelerate its construction schedule. Many projects have begun to regulate the conduct of RCC which has been breakthrough in compaction layer thickness 30cm field test, which by increasing RCC compaction layer thickness. Many experiments construction proved that: RCC roller compacted concrete layer thickness increasing is feasible. However the increasing compaction thickness, the deck construction process and the successful completion of the jelling time of concrete is the key factors to ensure quality of the dam. It is the big prerequisite for completion. We will integrate field test to the quality control of the dam after the compacted layer thickness is increased.

Abstract: Abstract. Present concerns for sustainable development have led to a revival of Rammed earth construction using natural or recycled resources. In human history, rammed earth constructions has a long history and wide application. The rammed earth construction is a symbol of the coexistence between mankind and nature, and especially with today’s energy depletion and environmental degradation, it became the focus of attention for its excellent function. The factors contributing to raw soil construction’s bleak prospect are that architect rarely focus on the rammed earth buildings and lack of people to participate in construction system. Since the sustainable development has been a theme of contemporary society, architect and engineer should pain more attention to the rammed earth construction.

Abstract: The concept of the p-convergent boundary element modeling has been presented to analyze the potential problem with L-shaped domain. The details of the p-convergent boundary element formulation are discussed. These include the equations of nodal collocation for the p-convergent scheme, selection of higher order hierarchical shape functions, techniques for integrating the product of the kernel functions and corresponding shape functions, strategies for selecting collocation points used in approximating the unknowns associated with the higher order shape functions, and program organizations. A numerical example that demonstrates the performance of the p-convergent boundary element formulation is shown with respect to different arrangement of collocation points including both symmetric non-hierarchical pattern and non-symmetric hierarchical pattern.

Abstract: The thermoelastic stress inspecting stress concentration was simulated using element plane223 of software ANSYS, comparing the result of simulation analysis and theory calculation, the simulation results of temperature and stress are precise extremely when the specimen is loaded sinusoidal load; the temperature changes of the right node in hole border is 0.305°C and the temperature changes of the bottom node in hole border is 0.098°C, the simulation results error comparing to the theory value are respectively 0.33% and 3.92%,which meets the real need. The temperature change value can be inspected with regular infrared camera, it will be a reliable method for inspecting and locating cracks in steel bridges.
