Article Preview

Abstract:

This paper critically outlines the contribution to sustainable transport in 3 aspects: environment, society and economy. Issues like land-use and energy-use, and the advantages and disadvantages of them have been discussed in this study. After that, some key policies of the instrument such as encouraging public transport and inter model infrastructure are also mentioned. Finally, a conclusion is given in the last section.
