Development and Application of Optimal Software on Distributing Flow in Pumping Station

Article Preview

Abstract:

During the scheduling process of pumping station operation, under the premise of given net lift and flow of pumping station, distributing the flow of each pump unit in the pumping station, determining the optimal speed, unit commitment of the synchronous motor and induction motor, and the optimal flow of single-unit or vane angle, will make the operation cost of pumping station least. In order to meet these requirements, this paper provides a technical model of optimization design that distribute the flow of pumping station on period to make the cost least. The model is built based on dynamic programming, and by using applications of VB.NET and WPF, a set of software that meet the requirements is developed. The software runs well, calculates accurately, and has already been applied to Fankou pumping station, which has a good promotion value.
