Abstract: We report a modification method for Silver target by high-intensity pulsed ion beam (HIPIB) irradiation. Based on the temporal and spatial distribution models of the ion beam density detected by Faraday cup in the chamber and the ions accelerating voltage, the energy deposition of the beam ions in Ag is calculated by Monte Carlo method. Taking this time-dependent nonlinear deposited energy as the source term of two-dimensional thermal conduction equation, we obtain the temporal and spatial ablation process of metal Ag during a pulse time. The top-layer silver material in thickness of about 0.33μm is ablated by vaporization and the layer in thickness of 1.6μm is melted after one shot at the ion beam density of 300 A/cm2.

Abstract: The Lower-melting point polyamide-6 (LPA6),with the melting point of 198°C,were a produced in a corotating twin screw extruder. The low melting point PA6/Organic montmorillonite (OMMT) composites were obtained by the method of melt extrusion.The effect of the content of OMMT on melting, morphology, crystallization behavior,mechanical properties of the composites was investigated by TEM, DSC, XRD. This work deals with combination of both components, which are the structure-property relationship of polymer/layered silicate nanocomposites, and the effects of complexation reaction on the montmorillonite dispersion in the matrix. Results showed that the complexation reaction have little effects on the exfoliation and dispersion of OMMT, and completely exfoliated with the content of OMMT was 5wt%.But it have significantly effects on the crystallization behavior of nylon 6,lead to the decraresd of the crystallinity. It was demonstrated that OMMT has a higher exfoliation degree lead to a balanced and enhanced mechanical behaviour.

Abstract: Using the method of blending and two different molecular-weight polycarbonate (PC) particles, a new molecular-weight PC was prepared. Respectively analyzing the tensile property, flow performance and microstructure of three molecular-weight PC.The result shows that the molecular-weight is the main factor what influence the tensile properties and flow performance, the higher molecular-weight, the better mechanical properties, and the poorer flow properties. The tensile property of the new molecular-weight PC is Slightly worse than the original PC, and the flow performance lies somewhere in between.

Abstract: A poly (sodium acrylate)-polyvinyl alcohol superabsorbent resin is synthesized from acrylic acid (AA) and polyvinyl alcohol. A new method is established to measure the adhesion properties. Then the influence of different experimental conditions on the adhesion properties of the resin is discussed. The results indicate that the adhesion properties of super absorbent resin have some variation with the water absorption increased, the initial pressure and the separation rate. It can be explained by the theory of polymer structure, mechanical interlock and stress relaxation.

Abstract: In order to understand the relation between the wet-absorb and fast-dry properties and the blended ratio of the fabric made from Coolplus fiber and cotton, four kinds of fabric were prepared and the wet-absorb and fast-dry properties were studied. It was found that, the wet-absorb and fast-dry properties of fabric were improved with increasing the Coolplus fiber content and there was a good moisture absorption perspiration performance when its content was accounted for 60%. After 30 min, the wicking height of the Coolplus/cotton blended fabric was about 18.2 cm and the residual moisture rate was less than 7%, showing the great wet-absorb and fast-dry properties.

Abstract: In this paper, the polyester chips were crystallized, dried up, grinded into power, mixed with dispersant and anionic powder whose surface has been modified. The conventional properties and capacity of releasing anion for the anionic functional PET fiber were studied. It was found that, as adopted the compound dispersant A+B, the intrinsic viscosity of the PET chips is about 0.72, the dispersibility and the spinnability is good, and the activity of the anionic powder is higher. The breaking strength of the anionic PET fiber decreases from 3.2cN/dtex to 2.6cN/dtex when the content of the anionic functional filler increases from 2 to 4 wt%. However, with increasing the anionic functional filler content, the capacity of releasing anion for the functional PET fiber increases and the number of the negative oxygen ion is 1430 / cm3, which is about two times when the content of anionic functional filler increases from 2 wt% to 4wt%.

Abstract: This work predicts the service life of nitrile butadiene rubbers used for O-ring sealing. The principle of time-temperature equivalence was adopted to shift the thermal ageing behaviors of rubbers and construct a master curve by superposition. The lifetime of rubbers were estimated from the master curves.

Abstract: The magnetic polymer ICF targets are fabricated by depositing the Ni-P coats of on the surface of polystyrene microsphere by the electroless plating. The thickness and composition of the coat, and the surface roughness and magnetic property of the magnetic microsphere were examined and analyzed. The results indicated the examined indexes can basicallymeet the requirements of ICF targets.

Abstract: The pretreating procedures on the inertial confinement fusion (ICF) pellet and the preparing procedures of th bath of electroless Ni-P plating were described in detail. The effects of the pH value of the bath on the coating quality, of the plating temperature on the yield of the coated microsperes and the plating rate, and of the plating time and the content of the complexing agent on the yield of the coated microsperes were investigated. The morphologies of the coating of the microsperes were evaluated by Olympus-BX51 optical microscopy(OM) and the coating thicknesses were measured by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).

Abstract: In this paper, the experimental platform about combustion characteristics of thermoplastic insulation materials is designed and established. The material surface temperature, heat release rate, flame height and pyrolysis position of different thickness of molded polystyrene board are obtained. Research results show that the flame spread rate increased with the increase of the thickness of material thickness and the fire spending increase decreases first and then increases. Considering the heat preservation performance and combustion performance of this material, 50mm is the critical thickness.
