Study on the Applicability of Grading Speed Limit Programs in the Highway Construction Operation Zone

Article Preview

Abstract:

The grading speed limit programs were simulated under different traffic conditions by using traffic simulation software VISSIM, the applicability of grading speed limit programs in the highway construction work zone were studied, the value of each applicability assessment indicators was drawn, and the values were evaluated and compared comprehensively by a weighted addition ratings method. The results indicate that the degree of the applicability of each grading speed limit programs is different, and they have different impact on safety and traffic efficiency of highway construction work zone.
