Abstract: In the construction of mountainous area roads, the similar soil slope is the most common slope form. During the construction, the problem we often meet is how to make the evaluation about the stability of the similar soil slope. The joints exist in the matrix rock, which make great effect on the stability of the slope. The main idea of this article is to analyze the effect of joints and the rain seeped in on the instability of the slope. To solve the problem, the finite element strength reduction theory is taken in this article, and the geotechnical finite element analysis software z_soil is chosen to make the analysis about the instability criterion and the stability in the condition the rain of the similar slope.

Abstract: In the deep rock mass surrounding, rock burst, large deformation, zonal fracturing and phenomena like these may occur in the tunnel excavation process. When zonal fracturing happens, it is essential to reconsider the types of support, the boundary of support and the approach of tunnel excavation. In this paper, the control theory about the surrounding rock stability under high pre-existing stresses was researched, and the efficient support form which was the combination of high strength anchor bar and anchor cable was ascertained to be adaptive to deep tunnel excavation. According to the deformation and zonal fracturing mechanism of the surrounding rock, a comprehensive support program that combined intensive short anchor bars and long anchor cables was established, and the numerical simulation was carried out to verify the feasibility of the support form.

Abstract: A certain powerhouse with two-row placed units is introduced in this paper. It is mainly analyzed and made sure where the most critical loads and its locations are when the two bridge cranes move with the capacity of 2×350 tons, and then the force on the structure is analyzed and the security capability of workshop is evaluated with two-row placed units. The paper compares with another case which the workshop has only one bridge crane with the capacity of 2×700 tons, and analyses the influence on the structure in order to illuminate the rationality and necessity to use two bridge cranes with the capacity of 2×350 tons. Hydropower station with two-row placed units is so special in forms that it is impossible to make eternal crack between units like general workshop, and the upper frame structure is also complex. It is very necessary to analyze the force state of upper structure and it is in favor of the popularization and application of hydropower station with two-row placed units.

Abstract: The flow-induced micro-vibration in Shuifu County Town near Xiangjia Dam is studied in this paper. First the characteristics of the micro-vibration are investigated based on the in situ measurement, and then the dynamic property of the still basin which is thought to be the vibration source is analyzed with the effect of fluid-structure interaction (FSI) considered. Finally, the reason of the micro-vibration in Shuifu county town is discussed and several possible engineering suggestions for vibration reduction are also proposed.

Abstract: The river dam intends to build at 280m downstream of a built bridge. This paper, using ANSYS finite element software, establishes a rational and realistic model to analyze the influence of the reservoir construction on the thin-walled hollow pier of built bridge. The variation of the stress of the bridge thin-walled hollow pier before and after impounding of the reservoir is given out, which can be as a guidance for future reinforcing the thin-walled hollow pier.

Abstract: Surface precipitation calculation and application is a complex problem. It involves not only how to calculate, and more importantly, a broad range of issues of calculation and results which are both closely integrated with application. It mainly includes the reliability, representativeness and consistency of surface precipitation; the calculation of surface rainfall depth and rainfall amount in general different durations, rainfall area and its corresponding total amount in different durations, specified range and different degrees; the calculation of characteristic index of surface rainfall location, area, rain depth, total amount, and the corresponding shape, mobile, development within rain district or fixed area to analysis surface rainfall characteristics and changes. Taken sediment formation and variation of the midstream of the Yellow River as research objectives, this paper presents the flood control design and flood resource application research with larger flood to satisfy the requirement of engineering hydrological calculations, and briefly describes the surface precipitation calculation and research results.

Abstract: To promote the preparation of technical standards for the quality of detection and evaluation work of the Yangtze River Dike reinforcement project completion and acceptance, this paper summarizes the quality check method of reinforcement works of the main dyke of Yangtze River. In the combination of the standard, design document and practical working condition, the quality check and evaluation index system for different construction contents are put forward. To promote the quality assessment of Yangtze River Dike project completion, comprehensive evaluation index system of quality inspection is established.

Abstract: A new loading test self-balanced loading test is introduced in this paper. Compared with the traditional loading test, its test principles and load transfer theory are presented. Based on the results of the contrast experiments of two methods, the conversion method from the results of self-balanced test to the results of traditional loading test is put forward.

Abstract: On the analysis of worldwide situation of river ecological restoration, this paper takes the Jialu River in Zhengzhou city as an example, carries out the study on ecological improvement of traditional river projects in six aspects, such as the arrangement of watercourse plane and section morphology, the design of ecological revetment engineering course, the engineering measures to create artificial imitation of natural habitats, the shallow surface flow unit engineering design of wetland and artificial wetland treatment, the protection and combing with floodplain woodland and the plants disposition of waterfront area. The results may provide the reference for the ecological restoration technology.

Abstract: Wavelet transform can carry on multi-scale and multi-resolution analysis of the signal through arithmetic function such as stretching and translation and so on .In this paper, applying Morlet complex wavelet performed wavelet transform of the month precipitation time sequence of Quzhou Jiuhua station, and analyzed period on different time scales. The future precipitation was analyzed based on main periods. The result showed that month precipitation has multi-scale characteristic and the main periods of month precipitation are 5-month, 11-month and 26-month. The periodic changes on large-scale nest the periodic changes on small-scale. The wavelet analysis can process signal in time frequency domain, which provide references for development and management of water resources.
