The Structural Design and Analysis for the Box-Wrench’s Hot Extrusion Die

Article Preview

Abstract:

Box-Wrench is a tool widely used in industry and especially suitable for screwing the bolt and the nut in the place where the space is very narrow and dent. In this paper, a process of hot extrusion box-wrench was presented. The structure of hot extrusion die and its working process were discussed. The feasibility of the process and the workability of the die were analyzed with Finite Element Analysis. The external diameter and the length of the box-wrench are designed according to the equipment's shape and size, the box-wrench's structure should be relatively flexible. How to manufacture the box-wrench in high efficiency and with high quality is the most important question of the box-wrench producing.
