Study on Forming Process of the Oil Pipe with Upset Ends

Abstract:

In this paper, a stepped die forging is built and the deformation regularity of the Φ73.02*5.51 oil pipe with upset ends is analyzed by a 3D simulation software. The suitable die is designed and is popularized in the actual production.
