The Monitoring System on Energy Consumption of Device Based on Wireless Network

Abstract:

In this paper, a monitoring system on industrial energy consumption is proposed. The system is composed of monitoring host, coordinator, data collection terminals which is connected to energy measuring instruments (such as electricity meters, water meters, heat meters, etc.) and yield counting sensors. Based on ZigBee protocol, a low-power wireless monitoring system is made of data collection terminals and coordinator. By accurately monitoring the production process, energy consumption can be saved and production efficiency can be promoted effectively.
