Research on Shape Memory Alloy to Petroleum Industry

Article Preview

Abstract:

Shape memory alloy, which is known as "the most promising material in the 21st century", has become one of the three pillars and a commanding height of strategies for the 21st centurys social and economic development like information technology and biotechnology. In this paper, the current research situation, organizational performances, and application of shape memory alloy to petroleum industry are reviewed, so as to provide theoretical guidance for the further application and production of shape memory alloy.
