The Research on Online Measurement System of Stone Slab Based on Improved Sobel Operator

Abstract:

A method of online measurement system of stone slab based on Sobel operator improvement is proposed in the paper in order to improve accuracy and productivity of stone slab measurement. Through adding Sobel operator model, they are combined with mathematical morphology method to improve the accuracy of boundary extraction of irregular stone slab and by establishing camera calibration theory formula a relation between world coordinate and image coordinate is set up. The result show that the method can implement online measurement of stone slab and the accuracy of this system can satisfy requirements of stone production industry.
