Planar Magnetic Motor in the Applications of New Energy Electric Vehicles

Abstract:

New energy vehicle development has been incorporated into China's twelfth five year development plan, motor and controller are core components in the new energy vehicle, high efficiency, light weight, low cost of the motor and the controller are the R & D personnel goal. In recent years, small volume, light weight, large starting torque of plane magnetic field electric machine are suitable for electric cars. This paper introduces the structure principle of plane magnetic field motor and its control, the prototype was done based on three motor drive system by testing each experiment and pass the test of each motor mounted to the vehicle. The motor speed, torque and vehicle speed, mileage and other data obtained in plane magnetic field motor in electric vehicle has great advantages in application of conclusion.
