Design and Implementation of the Video Player Based on the Devkit8500D Hardware Platform

Abstract:

The system realizes a touch embedded video player based on DevKit8500D development platform whose processor is DM3730. Adopting open source MPlayer as background, then the visualization operation of the player is implemented by writing a QT interface program which realizes invoking the MPlayer. At last, the interface program is transplanted on the development board. Test results show that the basic function of video player and keeping it running smoothly are realized, so the design target is reached.
