Abstract: The smart grid that the next-generation electric power system is studied intensively as a promising solution for energy crisis. One important feature of the smart grid is the integration of high-speed, reliable and secure data communication networks to manage the complex power systems effectively and intelligently. The goal of smart grid is to achieve the security of operation, economic efficient and environmental friendly. To achieve this goal, we proposed a fine-grained access control model for smart grid. In order to improve the security of smart grid, an access-trust-degree algorithm is proposed to evaluate the reliability of the user who want to access to the smart grid.

Abstract: In order to reduce production cost and simplify programming, the miniature programmable logic controller is designed, which realized restructure of the master control module based on STM32, and completed the control for external actuators through digital input and output module. Upper PC machine is used to monitor the running status of the controller with exchanging data through serial communication module.

Abstract: As an important field of image processing, image restoration has ever been a hot research topic. Our paper will focus on the adpative dictionary. We propose a novel improved adaptived dictionary learning algorithm. Utilizing the thoughts of manifold, for each atom in dictionry, we calculate the principal components of responding representaion errors as the tangent vector of the atom, which improves the representaion ability of dicitonary. Meanwhile, dictionary learned from the origin image is better at image denoising than adpative dictionary.

Abstract: Association rule mining is one of the most important techniques of data mining. Algorithms based on matrix are efficient due to only scanning the transaction database for one time. In this paper, an algorithm of association rule mining based on the compression matrix is given. It mainly compresses the transaction matrix by integrating various strategies and fleetly finds frequent itemsets. The new algorithm optimizes the known algorithms of mining association rule based on matrix given by some researchers in recent years, which greatly reduces the temporal and spatial complexity, and highly promotes the efficiency of finding frequent itemsets.

Abstract: In this paper, we survey several 3D techniques including 3D reconstruction in which quick stereo-photogrammetric system and laser scanner involved, image-based rendering and shape modeling for protection of cultural heritage. The applications are classified into two categories: reconstruction of large-scale heritage sites; reconstruction of culture relics and exhibition. Dozens of successful cases prove the effectiveness of the technologies, and the challenges remain in several fields: the automation of extracting texture from high-resolution photo and mapping it to the 3D model needs to be improved; accelerating the rendering performance; effective integration of virtual reality technology.

Abstract: CAD is presented in optical design, the use of object-oriented methods, optical lens structure described. Using object-oriented techniques to describe the object lens, and with VC++ language features to build such systems, construct a data structure of the optical system components. This method has a simple structure, portability, reusability of characteristics.

Abstract: Like in GSM network the co-channel interference (CCI) is popular in EDGE network due to the problem of reusing frequency in distant cells. Although the distance between cells using the same frequencies is quite far but CCI still causes significant effect to the channel capacity rather than noise. In fact, many solutions were introduced to reduce the CCI accompanied with improving network capacity such as using MIMO scheme or SAIC scheme. The paper describes a novel receiver model which provides better performance than that of a SAIC system as well as smaller size and cost than a MIMO system. This proposed receiver uses two co-located antennas with difference polarizations to improve the total performance of the system. In addition, this receiver can be applied effectively in high-modulation scheme, for instant, 8-PSK modulation format in an EDGE network and /or in presence of more than one dominant interference.

Abstract: In this paper we analyze a discrete-time queueing system where the server decides whento upgrade the service depending on the information carried by the incoming message. We carry outan extensive analysis of the system developing recursive formulae and generating functions for thestationary distribution of the number of customers in the queue, the system, the busy period and thesojourntimeas well as some numerical examples.

Abstract: In Ad Hoc networks, route failure may occur due to less received power, mobility, congestion and node failures. Many approaches have been proposed in literature to solve this problem, where a node predicts pre-emptively the route failure that occurs with the less received power. However, these approaches encounter some difficulties, especially in scenario without mobility where route failures may arise. In this paper, we propose an improvement of AOMDV protocol called LO-PPAOMDV (Link Quality and MAC-Overhead aware Predictive Preemptive AOMDV). This protocol is based on new metric combine two routing metrics (Link Quality, MAC Overhead) between each node and one hop neighbor. Also we propose a cross-layer networking mechanism to distinguish between both situations, failures due to congestion or mobility, and consequently avoiding unnecessary route repair process. The LO-PPAOMDV was implemented using NS-2. The simulation results show that our approach improves the overall performance of the network. It reduces the average end to end delay, the routing overhead, and increases the throughput and packet delivery fraction of the network.

Abstract: Web 2.0 technologies have offered interactive map services on the Internet. Google Maps is a map service that makes available its API (application programming interface) for developing Web-based geospatial applications. In such applications, layers are used to organise spatial data. Using layers, users can abstract from data that are irrelevant to their interest. However, Google Maps API has no direct support to the development of custom layers management. Developers have to design and implement such support in every application they develop. It makes the development processes less efficient and error prone. This paper proposes a software framework to facilitate the development of geospatial applications with custom layers based on Google Maps. Using this framework, developers can produce higher quality applications in shorter time.
