Comparison of Structural Support Schemes for Forestage Lighting Gallery in Lecture Hall

Article Preview

Abstract:

This study proposes three structural support schemes for a forestage lighting gallery in a steel truss structure transformed into a lecture hall. The advantages and disadvantages of these schemes are analyzed and compared in terms of structural safety, disturbance implications, and professional cooperation on architectural decoration. A separate light steel frame supporting the forestage lighting gallery has more advantages than only the original truss components and is thus more suitable for the project. The three schemes are compared for the reference of designers confronting similar problems.
