Article Preview

Abstract:

This paper discusses the effect of pole-slot combination as well as phase number on performance of PM generator direct-driven by wind turbine, on these basis, based on the equivalent circuit model, 3MW and 78poles and 324slots permanent magnet generator direct-driven is designed. The characteristics of the permanent magnet generator direct-driven under condition of no load and rated load are analyzed by means of coupled field-circuit method. The simulation and experiment results show that the designed permanent magnet generator direct-driven is feasible in wind power generation.
