Utilization of Converter Dust for Preparing High Solid Coatings

Article Preview

Abstract:

The converter dust was produced in steelmaking process. The particle size of converter dust is fine, and it contains a variety of oxides as well. The traditional recycling method is that returning the converter dust as raw material to sinter for recycling. The new recycling method is that making the dust as fillers for preparing high solid anticorrosive coating, which has important theoretical significance and application value.
