Study on the Pharmaceutical Distribution Enterprise IT Adoption Influencing Factors Model

Abstract:

With the national policy changes, pharmaceutical distribution companies using information technology to improve the competitiveness of enterprises was imperative. This paper took TAM and TOE as theoretical framework. And then combined pharmaceutical distribution business characteristics,the pharmaceutical distribution enterprise IT adoption influencing factors model was conducted with technical, organizational and environment organizational characteristics. The empirical results supported that relative advantages, compatibility, complexity, firm characteristic, leadership support, human resources investment, information technology strategy, relation of competition and cooperation, and government support had great influence on enterprise adoption.
