An Improved Implementation of Anisotropic-Medium PML for Efficient Laguerre-Based FDTD Method

Article Preview

Abstract:

This paper introduces an improved implementation of the anisotropic-medium perfectly matched layer for efficient Laguerre-based finite-difference time-domain method. Compared with the original implementation, the new formulations do not involve any nonphysical intermediate variables, while being more concise. The numerical example shows that the proposed implementation is valid.
