Abstract:

With the computer technology development during recent years, the virtual reality technology plays an important role in distance education-virtual experiment. Traditional virtual experiment solutions confront with either the lack of scientific management or the difficulties in further extensions. In this paper, we develop a virtual experiment in Blackboard Learning System with virtual reality. We use Virtools as our platform engine, 3D models and other scenes are designed with 3ds Max 2012, and then converted to *.VMO format to load on the web page. After a similar set of experiments, the result shows that the tool is feasible and practicable.
