Design of a Distributed Traffic Measurement Model

Article Preview

Abstract:

Based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the five currently used network traffic measurement technology, this paper proposes the distributed flow measurement model. The model divides the network by region and integrates the sub-stations and a central management station to better adapt to the high speed networks flow measurement. Meanwhile, this model greatly reduces the workload of the traffic monitoring of the central node and effectively improves the network performance because it adapts to any size LAN traffic monitoring.
