Energy Consumption Optimization Model for Cloud Workflow Application Scheduling

Article Preview

Abstract:

Improper scheduling model which is selected to execute cloud workflow application usually results in the waste of energy consumption. In order to lower the higher energy consumption of cloud workflow application execution, we propose a novel energy consumption optimization model for cloud workflow scheduling based on service level agreement, which can reduce energy consumption while meeting the performance-based constraints of time and cost. The optimization model can find out the optimal scheduling solution through calculating total energy consumption for each feasible scheduling solution.
