Electrolytic Simulation Experiment of Multilateral Horizontal well

Article Preview

Abstract:

According to the water and electricity resembling principle, an electrolytic simulation experiment was designed for multilateral horizontal well. The accuracy of algorithms raised by Табаков, Linsong Cheng, Tingxue Jiang was discussed quantificationally. Having analyzed how branch length, number of braches, wellbore diameter affects the productivity respectively. It’s concluded that algorithm of Linsong Cheng is most precise and when branch length is below 70m, Табаков’s formula is as well as accurate. In addition, branch length influents production most significantly, and then the number of branches.
