Cathexis Emotion-Modelling Merging with Personality

Article Preview

Abstract:

The way of Cathexis emotion model merging with personality is studied. The classic model is a model about mixed emotion synthesis, but personality isn’t included in the model. Personality and emotion space is described. The mapping between them is established via the PAD space, and the emotion model is proposed, which can accord with the human affection active role. The mapping between basic emotion and actions is also established to make new behaviors. So this theory lays a foundation for service robot working in public such as Terminal. The experiment results show that the model can remarkably reflect both the human emotion change process and how different personalities affect emotion. The interaction among emotions can also be shown by the experiment.
