The Visualization of Health Monitoring System for Bridge Using CORS and GIS

Article Preview

Abstract:

CORS is called Continuous Operational Reference System, which comprise a network of Global Positioning System receivers. Traditional sensors were used to determine the working environment parameters and mechanical property parameters of the bridge, and CORS technology was applied to obtain the positions of bridge monitoring points in three axis directions, besides the technology was adapted to combine GIS software with the relational database, in which the function of GIS and SQL Server were to manage the spatial information and the corresponding attribute data. In this paper the technology route was designed in detail to realize the real-time dynamic monitoring and visualization analysis of the deformation of large bridge. This system was developed to evaluate valuable information such as the stability, durability and reliability of the bridge.
