Innovative Design of Farmers Settlements in Urbanization — Shannan New Farmers’ Settlements in Huainan as Example

Abstract:

Take the project of farmers’ settlements in ShanNan District of HuaiNan City for instance, through analysis of the city, the project provided reasonable design and arrangement of settlements in order to reduce the conflicts between urbanization and the needs of rural people, including mental belongings, tradition habits, jobs, and utilization of farm land. And finally, this project aimed to build a harmonious relationship between the needs of farmers and city development.
