Abstract:

According to the subtropical natural conditions that Lingnan vernacular architecture remain in, local people construct buildings which are suited to the local climatic conditions. In this paper, the impact Lingnan vernacular architecture on new buildings subtropical is revealed through the analysis of the vernacular ventilation and insulation techniques combined with certain cases.
