Deformation Analysis of Dam with the Improved Wavelet Threshold

Abstract:

This paper introduces the traditional soft and hard threshold wavelet denoising and its improved algorithm,and denoise a dam’s deformation data with MATLAB programming. Compared with previous methods, the improved algorithm improves the de-noising effect quite a lot, the RMSE is obviously decreased while the signal-to-noise is obviously increased,the improved algorithm’s comprehensive precision is higher. Finally,we made a prediction for the results of improved threshold function wavelet de-noising with the use of Kalman filter model and got a good prediction effect,demonstrates that the improved method is an effective denoising method,and shows certain superiority through comparison.
