Image Register Based on PSO and Error Mechanism

Abstract:

When applying the standard particle swarm algorithm to image registering, it has a problem of convergence and the speed of the convergence. Aiming at this, we proposed a modified particle swarm optimization; a simple error correction mechanism is introduced into the update process of the particle, so that the particle’s error evolution can be corrected in time. To test the novel algorithm, we used a typical function to identify it. It can be seen from the simulation results that the convergence ability and the convergence speed of the new algorithm was increased effectively. Then applying the PSO algorithm to image registering, the experiment result is good.
