Abstract: In the landslide disaster control and high slope strengthening engineering, anti-slide pile is one of trusted engineering measures, but cognition in aspect of forced state on the anti-slide pile, the pile-soil mechanism etc, which should be strengthened. Therefore, monitoring objects with three cantilever anti-slide pile entities in the loess high slope somewhere, burying monitoring instruments such as earth pressure cells and steel bar meter, for as long as 18 months of monitoring. Through analysis of monitoring results, can draw the following conclusion:①The soil pressure distribution form before the anti-slide piles is parabola-shape as a whole, whatever above the slip surface or under the slip surface the soil pressure distribution form behind the anti-slide piles is almost triangle as a whole;②The anti-slide piles construction are completed, pile-soil interaction force and reinforced by stress reaches stability in about 16 months;③A maximum soil pressure before the anti-slide piles on the ground, the soil pressure behind the anti-slide piles near the potential sliding surface;④Before the anti-slide piles and behind the anti-slide piles, reinforced by stress from pile cap to pile bottom respectively is "compressive stress and tensile stress" and "compressive stress, tensile stress and compressive stress, tensile and compressive stress of zero before pile is tensile stress value maximize after pile.

Abstract: Reliability assurance and safety assurance are the definitive requirements for marine pipelines whose damages give rise to environmental disasters, while damages repair is very complicated. In view of high operation loads, the pressure and temperature effects combined with the account probable natural extreme effects these requirements make it necessary to tackle many problems associated with evaluation of «pipeline-soil» system interaction. The analysis of these interaction mechanisms has been carried out on the basis of foreign (DNV) and domestic standards. This article focuses on the problem of imposing special (seismic) loads and on engineering methods of measuring medium resistance forces; the subject matter of the article also includes the issues of the marine pipeline safety (risk) evaluation, using the theory of runs as applied to random seismic effects. The requirements for sealines in Russia are governed by Sealine Regulations.

Abstract: In a paper are considered four existing analytical methods for determination a bearing capacity of concrete-filled tubes structures under axial compression. Analyzed approaches to the questions of a limit compression load calculation are able to withstand a composite element. Highlighted the fundamental features and similarities of discussed methods, and also their shortcomings affecting to the accuracy of the strength and stability computing results. On the particular example performed a results comparison of determination the bearing capacity by the four methods.

Abstract: During construction or renovation of the building there is a question of choice windows. The modern market offers several kinds of windows: wooden, plastic, aluminum, and combined models. The most common and constantly competing with each other are wooden and plastic windows. This paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of all types of windows and offers the advice on selecting the type of windows for energy efficiency in buildings.

Abstract: The article presents an analysis of the primary technologies used to arrange air ventilation systems in residential buildings in Saint-Petersburg during the late 18th and early 20th centuries. The historic buildings construction and engineering systems is indisputable interest and can be subject to conservation of historic buildings in addition to conservation of architectural facades. The article analyzed historical techniques ventilation device in conjunction with the heating system.

Abstract: The article describes the calculation method of the payback period for the thermal protection measures. These measures are aimed at the increasing of thermal protection level achieved by the additional thermal insulation of the existing building's walls. The example of the calculation for the certain settlement with the specified climatic variables is also provided in the article.

Abstract: The corrosion is one of the main deterioration reasons of structural concrete and reinforced concrete. The corrosion is a consequence of unsatisfactory construction maintenances, poor diagnosis of defects' causes and no fracture control of concrete structures and also incorrect repair specifications and incorrect products and techniques selecting for the repair inevitably lead to the concrete structures' deterioration. The most countries are taking care to developing of the national standards for using as manuals for the protection and repair of concrete structures against corrosion to avoid these negative factors. The article authors are offering the comparative analysis of the harmonized Russian state standards and Eurocodes for the protection and repair of concrete structures against corrosion.

Abstract: The stress concentration of SWATH’s cross-deck structure is serious and the problem of its structure strength appears particularly important. In this paper, A 3-D global element model of SWATH was built, the design Loads, load cases and boundary conditions were studied. on the base of that, the structure response analysis was completed. The result show that the global ship’s stress is small in all load cases of head seas and oblique seas, and the bulkheads have serious stress concentration phenomenon in beam seas. The result can offer the reference for SWATH’s design and development.
