Abstract: An acquisition of ferrite surface images has been taken with a LY-WN-YH Hyper-depth measurement system, from which the crack condition was analyzed with MATLAB. Based on the contradistinction between experimental data from ferrite work pieces of different quality, a preliminary conclusion has been drawn that the surface quality of ferrite materials has a direct link to the quantity and length of the crack on them. By measuring the quantity and length of the crack, an initial criterion was obtained for judging the surface quality of ferrite.

Abstract: By using chemical oxidative polymerization method, ferriferrous oxide/polyaniline (Fe3O4/PANI) composites are successfully synthesized. The composites are characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectra (FTIR), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), and vector network analyzer (VNA). With the amount of Fe3O4 increase, the saturation magnetization and remnant magnetization of Fe3O4/PANI composites decrease, while the coercivity remains unchanged. The addition of Fe3O4 makes the reflection loss (RL) of Fe3O4/PANI composites decreases and the microwave absorption increases.

Abstract: Novel Na3YSi2O7: Sm3+, Eu3+ phosphors for white light-emitting diodes were prepared by high-temperature solid-state reaction. The photoluminescence excitation and emission spectra, energy transfer from Eu2+ to Tb3+ are investigated in detail. The current research suggests that Na3YSi2O7: Sm3+, Eu3+ phosphor is a potential candidate for application in Phosphor-converted LEDs.

Abstract: A novel naphthalimides schiff base fluorescent probe and polymeric fluorescent probe for Ag+ ions were synthesied by using cheap and commercially available of 1,8 naphthalene anhydride, vanillin, N,N-dimethyl-propane diamine and hydrazine hydrate as raw material. Their spectral characteristics and fluorescent sensing of metal ions in aqueous were studied. The results indicate that the fluorescent probes sythesized showed good water-soluble and stability, high detection sensitivity selectivity to Ag+, linear relationship between the fluorescent intensity and concentration of Ag+ is in the range of 9.9 × 10-6 ~ 9.9 × 10-5 mol/L.

Abstract: Four novel charged Ir (III) cyclometallates based on 9-phenylcarbazole unit have been developed. By attaching isoquinoline or 5-trifluoromethylpyridine group, the light-emitting properties of the resulting Ir (III) cyclometallates have been improved. Meanwhile, 1,10-phenanthroline or 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine has been utilized to modify the thermal stability. The four Ir (III) cyclometallates emit yellow light with the highest photoluminescence quantum yields (ΦP) of 0.32 (C4), which is only less than that of the state-of-art complex fac-tris (2-phenylpyridine) iridium (III) [fac-Ir (ppy)3], which shows ΦP of 0.40 under the same condition. This inspiring result reveals that the bulky character of CF3 group enhances the performance of reported charged Ir (III) cyclometallates and makes them to be potential phosphors in OLED applications.

Abstract: To study conductor damage induced by different patterns of string pulley in process of tension stringing, damage experiment is performed on string pulleys with multi wheels and single wheel. Damages occurred on conductor by two different kinds of string pulleys are analyzed. Results show that there are no significant decrements in strength of conductor with trapezoidal conductor when it is passing through different patterns of string pulley. It indicates that damages on conductor with trapezoidal conductor caused by both types of string pulley are similar. It is also found that average strength of conductor with circular conductor decreases 1.60% and 2.99% when conductor is passing through string pulley with single wheel and multi wheels over twenty times. It is concluded that strength damage on conductor with circular conductor induced by multi wheels is a little larger than that by single wheel

Abstract: First-principles calculations are carried out to analyze the variation of the energy gap and the absolute value of the crystal-field splitting energy of wurtzite zinc oxide under uniaxial loading along [0001] direction. The uniaxial loading in [0001] direction is predicted to be more effective to adjust the energy gap than applying the hydrostatic pressure, without changing the direct energy-gap nature. The top of the valence band is sensitive to the uniaxial stress, and the absolute value of the crystal-field splitting energy reaches the minimum when the uniaxial stress is about 2 GPa. The variation in electronic properties originates mainly from the relatively lower density of the valence electrons in c-axis direction.

Determination of 1,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-One in Paper for Food Packaging by Fluorescence Spectroscopy
Abstract: A novel method has been developed to detect 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT) in paper for food packaging by hydrothermal extraction coupled with fluorescence spectroscopy in paper for food package. Parameters affecting fluorescence intensity have been evaluated, including the pH of solvents and the effect of surfactants. It turned out to be that fluorescent spectroscopy was a sensitive and easy method to determine BIT in paper package. The regression equation obtained was liner, and the correction coefficient was 99.9%, the limit detection (LOD) was 25.3μg/L, method detection limit (MDL) was 0.25mg/kg, which turned out that this method was sensitive and precise to determine BIT in food package.

Abstract: A rapid and sensitive method based on the application of fluorescence spectrophotometry is developed for the determination of Octylphenol (OP) in food packaging materials. The extraction of OP from plastic food packaging materials was carried out using microwave-assisted solvent extraction. Laboratory experiments have shown that when the concentrations of OP are from0.1 to 0.6mg.L-1, they have a linear relationship with the emitted fluorescence intensity. In this interval, the calibration curve is y=10+212x, showing strong correlation (correlation coefficientR2 is 0.9983).

Abstract: Magnetorheological fluid is a new type of smart materials taken seriously in recent years, which has good performance of sedimentation stability , high dynamic yield stress, easily dispersed , low zero-field viscosity , fast response time , wide operating temperature range. In the magnetic field, its rheological properties can be made quickly respond easily and reversible control and it has excellent prospects. This paper studies a more comprehensive overview of MRF conduct in the nearest 20 years. The presented content are: MRF research survey, composition, performance and prospects.
