Framework of Order Planning and Scheduling System for MTO Enterprise

Abstract:

With the increasing competition in the market, more and more enterprises change their manufacturing policy from MTS to MTO, which gives rise to the challenge to generate suitable order planning and scheduling rapidly and economically. In the paper, based on the analysis of order processing procedure, a system framework of order planning and scheduling for MTO enterprise is presented. The system’s validity is indicated by a case study. It is shown that the planning and scheduling system can provide comprehensive management for the production process of order.
