The Study on Problems of Urban Transportation Development Planning - Base on Changchun Case

Abstract:

The recurring frequency of the transportation congestion has risen up sharply for the last decade in Changchun, both inner town and periphery. The decrease of thetransportation efficiency has become the impediment of urban function. With the introspection of planning strategy logics, the author proposed a series suggestion, that the strategy should based upon the sustainabletargets, that the controlling of the urban traffic needs should be the first principal, and the interacting with urbanspatial frameworkshould be in the consideration in transportation planning.
