A Perspective of Low Carbon: On the Design of Public Facilities

Abstract:

With the quickening of modern industrialization, the contradictions between environmental pollution and ecological cities are growing obvious,and the low carbon design of public facilities has become a widespread concern.On the basis of the analysis of the low carbon concept, its importance in the design of public facilities is put forward. Then the specific methods of low carbon design are discussed from some aspects, namely, the material selection, the structure design, recyclable products, the extension of product life, the use of new technologies and new energy.
