The Construction of Biorthogonal High Dimensional Wavelet Packets

Abstract:

In this paper, the concept of biorthogonal nonseparable high dimensional wavelet packets which is the generalizaion of biorthogonal univariate wavelet packets is introduced. A new method for constructing them is presented by iteration method. The biorthogonality properties of high dimensional wavelet packets are discussed. Three biorthogonality formulas concerning these wavelet packets are estabished.
