Study on the Evaporator Area Effects in the Gravity Feed Liquid Refrigeration System

Article Preview

Abstract:

In order to the small gravity feed liquid system cold storage optimization, it is analyzed that the evaporator area in gravity feed liquid system is how to influence the efficiency of the system. The visual basic software is used to simulation. The influence of heat transfer coefficient, heat transfer temperature difference and refrigerating capacity is simulated with the change of the evaporator area of the refrigeration system. Through the experiment, the feasibility of the application software is determined. Also it is found that the reduction of 25% evaporator area can make the system work best under the condition of - 18 °C cold storage temperature.
